No local vegges's available at Costco, but they are more expensive than Peak of the Market Manitoba vegge's!
I won't buy vegge's unless they are made in Manitoba. orders from my wife and it makes sense to support local produce.
So damn Costco, the company that says "better quality at a good price, has carrots labeled from Costa Rico, actually USA, 2 qualities of potatoes , one from Sask and the other from Washington. I register a complaint , and write down the costs and where the vegge's come from.
Over at Superstore "Peak of the Market Potatoes" in the 10 pound bag are both $2 cheaper than Costco and both are Manitoba grown! I send in another e-mail complaint. The onions are way cheaper, but I don't think I need 50 pounds of yellow onions at 14.99.
Do you complain to your grocer if you do not find manitoba Peak of the Market? If not you should and you should tell your grcer that you are going to buy your other itrms at a store that supports its manitoba farmers! I do that!

nope,, thats why there is different ratings on potatoes. Check which rating the ones from peak are next time you are in the store. Compare this with Costco ones.

whew...glad i didn't post in here earlier this morning (before my coffee).

I misread the title as "Costco Vegas"...figuring it was just another Rosie spelling.

Thought maybe it was something about slot machines available at Costco now.

As far as the veggie rating system...if you go to the Peak of the Market website, they have a pretty good brochure available describing things like that.
