man Ijust cant post removing every third or fourth word.
Check this out
http://www.dailycamera.com/news/2009/may/31/new-development-taxes-boulder/

Boulder is contemplating a variety of tax changes
1) removing voter approved taxes and putting whatever they want in.
2) taxing the sh1t out of the businesses.
3) Telling people it will lower their housing tax with one side of their mouth while sneaking around behind them and stealing their entire wallet.

Check this comments out

""It's the jobs that are creating a lot of the housing burden," Appelbaum said. "They (businesses) should be chipping in.""
yeah cause having jobs is a bad thing, better do something about that

remember the tax the business comment above?
"
Depending on where the council's discussion goes, the development taxes and fees on a new single-family house could range from 11 percent to 23 percent more under the proposal. Fees for a multi-family home could increase an average of 17 percent to 38 percent.
Commercial development fees could decrease by an average of 5 percent, or increase by as much as 86 percent in the first year, according to a city study."
now.. whom do you suppose would be paying the extra taxes the businesses will have to pay when building new homes... hmm why I just bet the businesses will eat up every single dollar of those taxes eh?

"For more than a year, the council has been studying whether to replace
the city's voter-approved excise tax structure with an impact-fee
system that circumvents voter approval and raises the amounts charged
on new development."

This in my opinion is the most disgusting part. "Oh, the people don't want the taxes so we'll just stop asking them".
