There are 30% blends floating around but I want to try the 100%, is it worth the order and customs??

Yes...I've bought it directly in Jamaica.

FABULOUS coffee...especially freshly ground.
VERY strong coffee though...so if you don't like strong rich coffee, you probably don't want it.

What price are you looking at?
I know when I bought it in Jamaica, it was about $8(US) per pound...that was 9 years ago.
It was selling in the US at the time for about $40US per pound.

Drove up to Irish Town back in 92' and was directed to where they were fresh roasting it....bought ten pounds to bring back to Canada....wow....smooth and aromatic. Worth the price if you can get a guaranteed 100% pure wholesale source. I would ask at Second Cup or the Fyxx to see who is supplying them.

You can buy it on their site for 38.00 US plus import taxes.

You can also buy a five pound, which is what we'd do for 150.00 US. But im not sure how much customs could be?

My recommendation is to contact CCRA, canada customs and revenue agency, to determine a non wholesale tax rate.....do not get UPS to ship to you....they are knobs. If you believe your american counterparts are wise enuff then get them to gift you the parcel shipped via USPS.......United States Postal Service.....remember, its a gift or a sample.....

Coffee would be 0% duty I believe. It should be like imorting food. Phone a canadaian custome broker or better yet if they can mail it in to you Canada Post charges $7 for brokerage fees.
go online for a local cofffee manufacturer- I would try one of their 30 blends, and at $10 per pound or less you might be surprised. I am buying their Colombia UTZ certified for my staff and I love the blend.
