I'm not sure how the Conservatives and Liberals will spin things should the NHL return to Winnipeg and a new Bomber stadium gets built, not to mention the human rights museum.

Hughie and Dr. Gerrard can't openly oppose these initiatives, because they know it will hurt them at the polls.

There's got to be some way to get enough strategic votes to win in swing ridings and get the NDP out of power.

That should not be difficult at all. This entertainment will come with a hefty price tag attached, which may be difficult to defend in a time where people lose their jobs, can't find a doctor, pay tution, and where roads are crumbling and the environment is deteriorating. One would hope that the voters will demand some more substantial return for a deficit budget.

You cannot put a price tag on an NHL hockey team.
