I like that one...took my daughter there yesterday...my first time on a toboggan slide since moving here 5 years ago.

I didn't realize it would be so narrow though...and had brought a nice big inflatable ring for her and I to share (she was 2) to go down the slide.

The ring would not fit in the slide...so I threw it down the slide and brought her down on our butts. Kind of a mistake...big bump at the bottom...bruised my tailbone pretty bad.

But...we had some great fun...definitely going to go out this year again (and already have our new toboggan).

I don't recommend going down the Empress side of Garbage Hill on an aluminum toboggan, either.

No...but that inflatable thing I had was AWESOME on the (NORMAL) side of Garbage Hill. I took my daughter one afternoon...had her bundled tight (looked like that kid in A Christmas Story)...she walked all the way up the hill (which is good, cause I don't think I could carry her repeatedly that far)...we went down...she was on the front...I on the back...had hit a bump near the bottom...she flew over my head and landed about 6' behind me...then slid down and caught me at the bottom. She got up and said "Let's do it again!!!"

SO we did...and again, and again, and again...I think we made more than a dozen trips down that hill...which...for a 2-year-old and a fat 36-year-old...gave us plenty of exercise walking up that hill.

But it was tons of fun...and we'll probably do it again this year too Very Happy.

My German shepherd ,apparently loves to chase kids on sleds, as they zoom down garbage hill.

My daughter reports that she keeps being asked, does he bite!!
