The only thing that's happening right now are the sale of season tickets or half seasons. The way things are going from what I hear, the 13k will likely be reached by late Saturday or Sunday. Rumor is about 1k seats are corporate, and there will be a little over 1k seats for walk up ( originally I heard it was 2k ). I don't get to bid until this afternoon, but by then I will have a good idea of what sections are left. I don't see mini packs happening this year though.

Please post your experience buying your tickets here. I'm most interested to hear about it.

Apparently the P1 seats were sold out as of 2pm yesterday.

So much for Winnipeggers buying the cheap seats first.

Its probably because everyone realizes they are not just buying Jets Season tickets, they are buying Game 7 Stanley Cup Final 2012 tickets as well.

1. Those tickets were probably purchased by businesses.
2. I have read the tickets are somewhat cheaper than the equivalent ticket would be in Calgary.

3. Wouldn't businesses be able to write those tickets off as a business entertainment expense?

Write off? Fer sure. Part of the cost anyway. I don't think the write off is 100%. Our resident financial-geek can answer that. St. Norberter?

I'd agree that many of those tickets were businessmen and wimmin. I also believe an good number are being purchased by the common man.

Ok, as of 3 p.m. today, P1 was definitely sold out, and 90+% of P2 was sold out. We called True North a number of time and most answers were P2 being sold out, and only of couple of them said there were a few spots left. ( My friend is a very persistent person in getting information. )

Basically, you sign in, pick out a price level that you want to put a deposit for tickets, select how many seats you want, and finish off the transaction. They contact you at a later date ( over 6 weeks I was told by two people there ) about seat selection. Payment options do not have to go through your credit card when it comes to finalizing the seat selection. Unofficially, TN knows a lot of people are grouping up to buy seats so I'm told there's a little flexibility when it comes to seat selection time and finalizing payment for the season. The deposit in the beginning however is under one person during this presale, and I imagine it's no different tomorrow.

Pretty exciting afternoon, and last few days. People come out of the woodwork when they get wind of you being a Moose season ticket or mini pack holder. I think some of the claims about tickets all being sold ( up to the 13k limit ) by Sunday might not be too far off at this pace. One has to remember, that there weren't a huge amount of Moose season ticket holders out there, and we're already at 7100 + seats sold. People are really stepping up. This is going to be a fun year.

The P3 level. They will belong to a couple of friends of mine too.

P4 pricing level is also great viewing as well. I was in 203 with the Moose. That height and corner was close to perfect. No need to turn your head and you can see the entire rink, and hear everything. Hoping to be able to get in the higher seats in the corners of P3 or section 217,220,207,204. I'll know more when they start contacting us for seat selection when the drive is over.
