This link is not linked on the website of this thread. The main reference is to her own website which does not mention any business background:

http://www.votesusanauch.com/main.asp?cat_ID=15

So does she live and work in AB, or in Winnipeg? If she lives in AB and is familiar with issues there, maybe she should be a candidate in her hometown.

I find it weird how many of the candidates' own websites don't state how these people earn a living. Makes them appear like bums who are only in it for the money and pension.

Evil, do some homework. Susan is a native Winnipegger. She has moved home to Winnipeg after years of first training and then working in Calgary.

my responses have been posted. Apparently my emails were not getting through to their inbox

http://manitobaelection.ca/candidates/215/dean-koshelanyk

sure wish this one had made it up before the NDP announcement today.

"
In your electoral division?

I would love to see a multi-use facility rise in the area that would
have access for various indoor sports, community gatherings and the
like. There is no facility even remotely close by that is available for
our residents to use and having one that would go a long way to getting
more people involved in the community."

Most of of those green party candidates seem like granola munching, patchouli smelling hippys.Where do they find half of these people? Also several candidates look like there 17 years old.

If they want people to take the party seriously they should probably get candidates with actual credentials and hire a professional photographer ( one candidate looked like he used his high school photo).

What a strange collection of people...

first impression reading her bio....

While living in Ottawa, Alanna participated in numerous rallies and demonstrations on Parliament Hill including: protesting the war in Iraq, .....

Alanna's passions include environmental activism and women’s rights. She is currently a member of both the Winnipeg Chapter of UN Women’s planning committee

Nothing wrong with what she's done....but not ready for prime time imo. She should stay a protester...hopefully on her own dime though.

Yup. Jack Layton kept saying those words and he was a socialist.

Protesting is what kids do imo. Grown-ups come up with real solutions and work within the system where, whether we like it or not, things actually get done.

She just like the party ... it is a party-in-waiting imo.

Her olympic achievements illustrate her character and ability to get things done, etc.

That, imo, gives her a very strong image.
