The Bombers cutting Armstrong was a foregone conclusion the moment he refused to play in the game.

There is no likelihood the Bombers would have been able to get anything of real value in a trade. Be interesting to see if another CFL teal picks him up.

There was a great article in the Freep yesterday taking all Bomber doomsayers to task over their dire predictions. That writer never mentioned Sinclair and his idiotic story.

I love this little bit about the armstrong crap.

"
"I didn't want to rotate," Armstrong told the Sun last Friday morning. "I felt like I didn't have to rotate, given the years and experience that I've played in this game.
"They didn't give me the most respect and let me know ahead of time, so I just figured I would return the same favour. Whatever happens, happens." "

Hey DUDE!! DUUUDDEE!!... your an employee, you dont get to make the decisions.

he didn't want to rotate?!!!

what a jerk.

MAYBE in a playoff game...or a deciding game...but not the 1st game of the season.

The 1st 2 or 3 games are for establishing players...and seeing "who's got what"...what an idiot.

Gordie should write about what he knows, which is definitely not football.

He loves to name drop. I think he does this when he's hard up for anything of substance to write about. You can always get "tabloidy" and people will pay attention.

If I had a chance to speak to him about his Blue Bomber commentary, I would say to him...

Silence!

Still some things to work on but they definitely showed some flashes of greatness! Are D looks really solid, even without Doug Brown.

Gave up a lot of points after having the game well in hand. Got to keep playing. Need Brown with that warrior mentality to keep fired up.
